On Thursday, November 21, at 3 p.m. EST, AMFF Ambassador Scott Biron will join Curator Jim Schottenham for an educational look at the streamer fly. Scott is an active fly tying instructor and is a popular attraction when presenting his instructional tying lessons at national, international, and regional shows. Scott and Jim will discuss the history behind the streamer pattern created by Carrie Stevens, the Colonel Bates fly, in honor of Colonel Joseph D. Bates Jr. Scott will also demonstrate how to tie this classic pattern.
