To our friends old and new, we would like to thank you for supporting AMFF. It’s been a year of change, widening our horizons and taking bold steps towards increasing our footprint in the fly fishing community, while also staying true to the values established by our founders over 55 years ago.

What a year! We’ve added nearly 1,000 members, redesigned our website, increased our online programming, developed online access to our collection, partnered with conservation organizations, published the 50th volume of the American Fly Fisher, engaged with anglers across the country, and recognized the work of other non-profits including the Jackson Hole One Fly Foundation and Wild Salmon Center’s Guido Rahr, all to bring the sport of fly fishing to as many people as possible, giving them a shared home to celebrate the history of the sport as well as investing in what is to come.

Our fundraising goal this year was $395,000 and with $75,000 to go, we really hope you will donate to this year’s Annual Appeal and get us over the finish line. Funds support the expansion of our Western Fly Fishing Collection, our Membership initiative, and our online and on-site exhibitions.

AMFF is truly a place like no other. It’s where the past, present, and future of fly fishing intersect, reminding us how things used to be while informing our decisions on the ways to make all that is beautiful and inspiring about our sport be there for future generations. Whether you are a cold water, warm water, or saltwater angler, AMFF is here for you. Support us today and be a part of fly fishing history.
