The American Museum of Fly Fishing is pleased to announce Matt Smythe as the museum’s new Director of Membership and Outreach! Previously serving as the head of Communications and Member Relations for the American Fly Fishing Trade Association (AFFTA), Matt will be responsible for raising greater awareness and interest in the museum’s mission, and growing our member base.

Matt’s deep experience and love for the sport – and the fact that he is one of our Ambassadors – make him ideally suited to welcome more people to the museum family, ensuring that the origins of fly fishing remain an integral part of its future.”
